nuts and dates in a food processor with sea salt and pulse to
chop until they are finely processed (should stick together if you squeeze with
hand)

For creamier butters, one can use a
hand - crank grinder that basically smashes / presses the
nuts rather than
chopping them.
Grind them together until the
nuts are coarsely ground (if you don't have a food processor, you can
chop them medium - fine by

Bread pudding is one of my favorites and this recipe is quite similar to my own «method» (meaning that I do not use a real recipe but incorporate what is on
hand with the basic ingredients) My very, very best version uses leftover, homemade biscuits that have been split, buttered and toasted... add some dried peaches cut into small pieces, the plumped cranberries, toasted
nuts and usually a
chopped apple.
Also, I have made this several times without a food processor - I just
chopped the
nuts very small by
hand, and it came out just fine.
Chop nuts by
hand or use food processor to achieve desired coarseness - you may leave in larger pieces or in a finer blend depending on your texture preference for the bars.
Toss this with remaining dressing, spread on a plate, cover with veggies, top with fromage blanc or goat cheese and
chopped nuts (I used roasted pistachios, not local, but again, I had them on
hand).
Take all the ingredients except the finely
chopped nuts and put them in a large bowl, Start by mixing with a spoon, but as the blending continues, you'll need to switch over to using your
hands to really get things well combined.
In a food processor, combine the arugula, pine
nuts and juice from 1/2 lemon and process until finely

hand — almonds, walnuts, and pecans all work great)
I used the full amount of pasta (swapping out whole grain rotini, because that's what I had on
hand), doubled the spinach but did not saute it, tripled the garlic, used the whole can of beans, increased the mustard to 2T, and added 2T each of
chopped fresh basil, finely - shredded Grana Padano cheese, and pine
nuts.
This
nut butter can be generously spread on crackers, toast or used as a dip with
chopped up vegetables (I used radishes here as they also support estrogen detoxification) or fruit (I had apples on
hand today).
Pulse the moist grains in a food processor or run them through a
hand - cranked meat grinder, then mix them with a pinch of salt and — if you wish — some dried fruit or
chopped nuts.
Roll into small balls by
hand and then roll the balls in
chopped nuts.
