The power button and volume rocker are located on the right -
hand side of the handset within easy reach, and considering the size of the screen I'm pleased that the power button isn't placed on the top of the handset, as it would be a bit more of an uncomfortable stretch to reach it.
The power button sits on the right
hand side of the handset which is a strange one for an LG phone considering we are used to it on the back, while the other side of it sits the volume rocker.
Each handset has a USB - C port on the bottom and the power / volume keys are on the right
hand side of the handset.

Finally, the placement
of the microUSB port toward the bottom
of the
handset's
side, same as the original Tour, is awkward, because it makes using the device or placing calls difficult while charging, particularly for right -
handed users.
The current iteration
of the
handset has 1.8 mm bezels on the top, left and right -
hand side, and a 4.3 mm one on the bottom.
Aside from a gorgeous edge - to - edge screen, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are also believed to be the first
handsets to ship with Bixby, which will reportedly have its own physical button located on the left -

In terms

hand side hasn't been left completely alone on the 5S, with Apple choosing this surface as the location for the SIM card tray — the iPhone 5S was one
of the first
handsets to rock the tiny nanoSIM technology.
An added bonus on the right
hand side of the Ascend P2 is the inclusion
of a dedicated shutter key towards the base
of the
handset, giving you instant access to the camera app as well as an easy way to snap photos.
Huawei positions the power and volume buttons halfway down the
side of the
handset, and while this might seem unusual at a glance, it is actually the best place for them for when you are holding the phone one
handed and hoping to find the buttons easily.
As you can see, the display on this
handset comes with rounded corners, and a physical button seems to be available on the left, but that's pretty much it, that's the only visible physical button here, though truth be told, we do not really see a right -
hand side of the device.
Gionee's branding is present on both the front and back
sides of this
handset, and all
of the phone's physical buttons are included on the right -
hand side of its body.
As the
handset launched on the other
side of the pond a little less than a month ago, we've had an opportunity to try it out and as we noted in our
hands - on piece, we were pleasantly surprised by how snappy and solid it feels for a device that costs less than $ 280 ($ 320) in Europe.
