We do keep a roll of paper
towels on
hand for
things like patting raw chicken dry.
Like a few others have said, I will be keeping a few paper
towels on
hand for
things like cat puke.
Because I'm a nut, I also like to switch out a few small
things in my home with the seasons, so I put out a gardenia scented candle and switched my throw pillow covers, throw blanket,
hand towels in the bathroom, and kitchen
towels for lighter spring colors.

I picture the following cartoon: a goofy looking human in a bath
towel running a dozen hair dryers in each
hand, and then zooming out to bring all of their neighbors into view doing exactly the same
thing, then panning over to show a busy city sidewalk packed with people rushing to work with a briefcase and a dozen running hair dryers in each
hand (either with arms at their sides, or perhaps even up above their heads continuing to dry their hair as they walk, briefcases dangling in the air), and then zooming out again to show the same scene carried out on every city sidewalk.
I do love switching out accessories... crocks, wooden spoons, old kitchenware, vintage
hand towels... from time to time, giving all my favorite
things center stage yet one more time.
Fill it with
things like disposable
hand towels, air freshener sprays, a pack of matches and some hotel size soaps and lotion.
So, let's see... I make all of my own cleaning products and laundry detergent (which are amazingly more effective than store bought), I take my own sacks to the grocery store, buy as many
things as possible 2nd
hand, repurpose items that have seen their better days (i.e. old
towels...), we no longer use paper plates and cups... We are now gardeners and finding organic ways to solve pest issues and I have also started canning.
