We've been hard at work addressing your feedback, and are happy to announce that with this build the touch
keyboard now supports the split
layout — an ergonomic
layout designed to be used with both
hands, one on each side of your tablet.
If you want to switch between wide, one -
handed, and the standard touch
keyboard layouts, just tap the button in the top left of the
keyboard.
While there are plenty of other
keyboards available on the iOS App Store, none of them offer an arc - like
layout for easier typing from one
hand.
As per Thurrott, the one -
handed design has a fan style
layout with each
keyboard row being positioned in an arc shape.
