Teachers throughout the district are reporting that with the pressure to
handle increasingly needy kids, and to do more with less, they are routinely working well beyond their contract hours, often starting an hour early, staying a couple of hours late and taking work home at night that involves
prepping for projects or grading papers or
tests.
