If you really want to do some ab exercises, you should be doing planks,
side planks,
hanging knee raises, spider man climbs, mountain climbers, etc..
This guy shows us some more advanced moves such as weighted
knee lift (a great alternative for
hanging leg raise), crunch with dumbbells,
side plank with weights.
Focus on non-crunch ab exercises as well, such as the
side plank,
hanging knee raise,
hanging leg raise, exercise ball rollouts, and exercise ball jackknives for lower ab results.
