Random elements and unique situations in open world games are some of the best content to
happen during gameplay in my opinion.
Most of the character - building dialogue
happens during gameplay and optional conversations that prevent the traversing from becoming stale.
Crystal Dynamics took advantage of the set - up in order to dynamically alter the music during playback - context driven based entirely on what was
happening during gameplay at the time.
While most games that fall onto the HGT chopping block are picked apart for stuff that actually
happens during gameplay, HGT had plenty to work with from the real world this time around.

During gameplay the character can pick up prostitutes,» however, at the request of Rockstar, exactly what
happens next has been mysteriously withheld.
Mid-battle cutscenes also flow better than before, such as cameras focusing on areas of interest mid-battle, and meetings with certain generals
happening in a more realistic way; while in the old games you would sometimes see your character interacting with a general on the other side of the map
during a cutscene, this doesn't tend to
happen now, some scenes flowing back into
gameplay with your character standing in front of the officer they were speaking to, rather than suddenly finding yourself back on the other side of the map as though nothing had
happened.
Not much new
happens throughout the game, only thing that varies is the difficulty level
during gameplay.
The game has a gritty B - movie feel to it, but
during gameplay, since everything is so small, you just kind of let things
happen and watch the mayhem.
