All you atheists seem to be very educated, so let these thoughts sink in and maybe reconsider your stance on religion with the realization that religion will never be substantiated with hard evidence and all your countless questions will always go unanswered.

I'm going to say pro-life and anti-gay marriage because I believe you'd be hard - pressed to find an atheist who believes it is okay to deny women control over their own reproductive health and the ability to decide whether or not to carry a pregnancy to term or, likewise, who believes it's okay to deny marriage to a couple based only on gender orientation.

I work hard, I pay my taxes, I donate to charities, I help people, I take showers, mow my yard and so on just like all the other productive people of society that are both atheist and christian.

I'm not saying that when you'll do this you'll become an atheist (though personally I believe if you truely do think about it, that you will become one soon enough) there are a few people on this board (like JW) who has thought long and hard about god and rationalized it enough to still be a believer and make some sense, but fred, I will not be even remotely swayed to understand your point if you only use the bible as your bullhorn.

So, as an agnostic atheist, I have to be content knowing that there are many unanswered questions — even about things that both theists and hard - line theists around me feel are already answered questions, based on prevailing theory or clues extrapolated from other supposed knowledge.

If you really wan na call yourself an atheist, you can't depend on the idea of God for anything, no matter how you call it, and that's very, very hard to do.

But one thing I do know is that when people are alive those who are non believers go through as you are now buy on your death bed it is hard to be an atheist.

And in the meantime, we are heavily relying on the intellect of the atheists to use their God given giftings (which are wonderful, byu the way) to work harder on cures for disease, than just focusing on religion.

It's hard to argue with an Atheist who's entire belief system is built on a basic scientific law failing in order for their own existence and «religion».

PDX — It doesn't take a Genius to realize from my statements that i have read things other than the Bible you moron i have spent many hours reading and listening to scientists about their theories on the big bang, i have listened to ideas from the most revered scientists including Hawking and others, and they all admit that there are holes in their theories, that nothing fully explains their big bang theory, the physics doesn't add up let alone the concept, there are plenty of scientists hard at work trying to make the numbers fit and the theory hold weight but if you ask any of them they can not give you the answers and the reason being... there are none, the theory doesn't work, If by the observable laws of Physics, Matter in this Universe can not be created or destroyed, you can only change its state, i.e. solid to liquid, to gas... to energy... There is no explanation for how an entire reality full of Matter can be created out of nothing... Scientists know this... idiots that are atheists and simply would rather NOT believe that their lives and actions they take within their lifespan are being witnessed by an Omnipotent God do not WANT to believe... but Your belief in God does not change whether or not he exists you will be judged.

Being an Atheist its hard to find someone I can relate to on a personal level.
