Well, since I
hate the relentless (though entirely necessary) nagging
of NPR fund drives so much I have refrained from mentioning the Science Bloggers for Students Fund Drive and the microscope sub-drive I'm
running (and if you missed it the first

out the cool videos here) since I first announced it.
I honestly
hate that most
of the girls go to the gym to
run on the treadmill, when they could make the most
out of their
time and the most
out of their bodies, if they visit the weight lifting room more often.
The pleats, the delicate hand - stitched appliqué, the layers
of chiffon... Those are the little moments, the little gestures — each cup
of coffee he hands me and each
time I organize our trip somewhere; every
time I call in a takeout order (cause he simply
hates calling people) and every
time he
runs out in the rain to pick up dinner (because I
hate hate hate leaving the house after I've settled into my pajamas).
I
hate giving these to my dogs because they are pure crap ingredients... but during
times of very high stress (fireworks, thunderstorms, house on fire, volcano eruptions, riots when we
run out of peanut butter) my dogs truly appreciete them.
