Flip down the seats and
haul bigger items.
When you're
hauling big items you want out of the snow (a motorcycle, a futon, and a collection of furniture and empty boxes were all in the mix for me) the Transit Connect is wonderful.
I love the size and storage space of the rear and trunk, and the fold - flat rear seats which make
hauling big items easily.
Not exact matches
The following
items are the highlights of my antique store shopping trip that day (it wasn't a
big haul, but I absolutely adore those pieces that I did find).
I think that was my
biggest haul this past Summer and trust me, I still have a few
items left to be styled.
In an attempt to find some capsule Spring
items that will really add a little vavavooooom to my wardrobe I've been
hauling clothes from every store, 90 % I've taken back, but the 10 % I've kept has been like finding a pearl in the
big, vast oyster ocean.
Which leads me to the question I'm curious to hear your response on... Would you prefer just making a couple of multi-item or
haul purchases a year (such as at a
big sale or event) or do you prefer to make multiple small purchases throughout the year on random
items?
That means this
big truck is far from ideal for
hauling bulky
items.
Another
big bonus is being able to
haul things for the garden, lumber and other large
items that would dirty up the interior or wouldn't fit in a regular car.
Don't get me wrong, they sound great and really get going - they can also
haul and tow well - but for someone with a family, who wants a 4WD truck to help with odd jobs and for transporting
bigger items, this truck is a great option.
And,
big -
item storage is great too — fold down the second - and third - row seats, and the Pacifica boasts 140.5 cubic feet of cargo volume and enough open floor space to
haul a 4 × 8 sheet of plywood.
I like both of these places for appliances as they do free delivery and set up (I know lots of landlords use craigslist for used appliances but I'm getting too old to
haul these around and both these
big box stores always seem to have these
items on sale anyway).
