Hi Vanessa, the Nutribullet is a really good small size blender which I
would really recommend
however it's best to make nut butters in a
food processor as blenders really need a liquid in order to function.
You can grind your own almonds yourself in the
food processor into a fine flour texture
however I'm not too sure on the amount of almonds you
would need for this.

've just bought your book and
have tried a couple of recipes which where lovely
however I need to invest in a
food processor so was just woundering what to look for with regards to Watt / blades and speed ect especially for the Medjool dates as they can get stuck on blades!
However i chanced upon the: Kenwood FP 956 Johann Lafer Edition Professional
Food Processor its 1000watt do you thing this
would be good enough to do the job?

however I think a spiralzer may be a step too far!
Making mayo by hand is how I
had to make it in school,
however, I
have had success using a
food processor and immersion blender, using the same technique as above.
However, when I was vitamix-less I
would use my Black & Decker
food processor with serrated blades or my little hamilton beach blender, not vitamix quality but they still worked pretty well.
However, unless you
have a large
food processor (one with at least an 11 - cup workbowl), you will
have to make this by hand or with a standing mixer.

however you may want to pureé in 2 batches if yours is smaller.
Ideally you'll also need a high speed blender for the strawberries & cream filling
however, if you
have a really good
food processor I think you
would get a good result with that too.
