gadget that you seldom use, but can't bear to part with?
I definitely do that with
kitchen gadgets — if someone asked me specifically if I
had [certain
kitchen gadget], I
'd probably remember it, but otherwise, out of sight out of mind.

So, I
have a lot of
kitchen toys
gadgets necessities packed away in my cabinets.
I
have already made four of the recipes in this book and they were all very easy to make (Amanda's directions are some of the best out there), didn't require lots of fancy
kitchen gadgets, and took no time at all!
But I did
have to throw something else out to make space, like you I
have far too many
kitchen gadgets and if I want a new one an old one
has to go in the bin!
I don't
have one either I sorta hate
kitchen gadgets that only do one thing!
I'll just
have to sneak some in before my retired and vigilant husband notices yet more
kitchen gadgets to be forgotten in a corner of a cupboard.
My grandmother
had a tiny
kitchen too, minimal
gadgets, and put out meals and baked goods like nobody's business.
If you
've got any interest in cooking, there's a good chance you
've heard of a certain little
kitchen gadget known as the Vitamix.
For that reason I decided an immersion blender
would be a nice addition to my ever growing
kitchen gadget collection.
If you do not yet
have a food processor I highly recommend getting your hands on one — it's my all time favorite
kitchen gadget that I seriously miss whenever I am traveling and
have to live without one.

For my purposes, I
've decided I don't need the larger one with multiple blades — it's just more blades to cut myself on, and I don't
have an endless amount of storage space for
kitchen gadgets.
I actually
had leftover fresh herbs from making the video above, so I made a second batch of the pesto, poured it into my silicone ice cube tray (as I show you how to do on my
Kitchen Gadgets video) and froze the pesto.
I borrowed it from a friend of mine because I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to a new
kitchen gadget (between the waffle maker and ice cream maker and the damn pasta maker attachment, I feel like I
have too many); I'm currently still gauging if I actually want to buy one myself.
I'm also not a fan of
having a lot of
kitchen gadgets but that spiralizer looks pretty freaking awesome to use.

just so you know (and i realise your small
kitchen is limited in the number of available
gadgets), my husband
has perfected this using a slow cooker with no lid.
As the foodie in my family and circle of friends, over the years I
have received a good amount of useful, useless, awesome and / or strange
kitchen gadgets for Christmas.
Helpful
gadgets in the
kitchen are a must but I
've never heard of using needle nose pliers to pit a cherry.
It's a tough call... there are so many things I
'd love to
have from the RawRutes site (I'm a
kitchen gadget freak)!
and I most certainly
would have to buy
kitchen gadget from Amazon
I
would love some new cookbooks and more

I too am not one for
kitchen gadget fads, but we bought one and your recipes here along with Melissa's book
have finally helped me hit a groove with my Instant Pot!
In the US, and especially at home where I
have all sorts of
kitchen gadgets at the grocery store you can find so many different ingredients.
As I
've said all along,
kitchen gadgets aren't a necessity to cook healthy meals for yourself or your family, they are just fun to
have.

would buy cookbooks,
kitchen gadgets and new shoes from Amazon
A few years ago I came across an Alton Brown diatribe against one - use
kitchen gadgets (or «unitaskers,» I think he calls them) and thought it
would be a good rule not to buy them for our New York
kitchen.
I didn't expect to actually use the thing that often, but over the years I
'd certainly bought plenty of more ridiculous
kitchen gadgets.
I don't
have a lot of 1 - use
kitchen gadgets, but a waffle iron is definitely worth
having.
I wondered if it
would be like some of my other
kitchen gadgets and just collect dust, but I use mine at least once a week!
Never heard of Thermomix but it sure seems like a good
kitchen gadget to
have!
We
've always debated getting a scale since we don't want yet another
kitchen gadget, but this could be essential.
I highly recommend
having an immersion blender in your
kitchen gadget arsenal, but if you don't here's a helpful post on how to puree hot soup in the blender without an explosion.
I
had that tool in my
kitchen gadget drawer forever and did not
have a clue what it was;
has been nice to know and now use it a lot!
If you
've got a dehydrator, I'm sure you can make fantastic homemade ones, but I don't
have room for more
kitchen gadgets at this point, so I buy mine at Costco, or these Yupik ones from Amazon.
