Made the bread tonight as per the recipe book «ml» and «g» measurements, and subbed in walnuts for
almonds because that's what I
had — Just testing a
slice covered in my home made walnut and kidney bean spread... Yummy Think I need a touch more salt but I'm always a bit worried about over seasoning... I used mixed herbs but think I
would love to add some garlic (powder maybe) next time, and use selected herbs rather than the commercial mix.
Top with melted chocolate, drizzle on white chocolate (and toasted
almonds) and you
have a
slice worthy of raves.

had greek yoghurt in fride but added a bit of coconut milk and mixed in some grated raw cacao, banana

sliced almonds in the crisp, and I
have to say, I really liked the texture it added.
After the cake
has been in the oven for 15 minutes, make the
almond topping by combining the sugar, nondairy milk, vegan butter or coconut oil, and
sliced almonds in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil.
I
would say that the only bad thing about
almonds is their high price — specially if you buy them blanched, slivered, or
sliced!
For the crunchy part of the salad, I chose nuts and I went with
sliced almonds since I thought they
would work most harmoniously with the
