Hi Vanessa, the Nutribullet is a really good small size blender
which I
would really recommend however it's best to make nut butters in a
food processor as blenders really need a liquid in order to function.
I need to make them again as I don't
have my
food processor with me at the moment and so mashed the sweet potato and chopped up dates with a fork
which I think led to a denser consistency.
I did my usual thing of not quite reading the ingredients or in this case the method quite well enough beforehand, and did not realise that it required a
food processor which I do not
have, to bind together the sweet potato and dates.

It comes with both a
food processor and blender attachment, so you only
have to store one base,
which is great if you're short on kitchen space too.
Thanks for the tips on the Magimix — there is definitely a difference between that and my wee cheap
food processor which had seen better days!

have tried a couple of recipes
which where lovely however I need to invest in a
food processor so was just woundering what to look for with regards to Watt / blades and speed ect especially for the Medjool dates as they can get stuck on blades!
Sadly blenders don't
have the right blades to crush things and they need liquid,
which food processors don't.

The reason we prefer a
food processor is that it
has a wider base
which allows the whole batch to be mixed at once, not just the nuts at the bottom.

would recommend the Magimix blender (a different machine to the
