I know this will upset the legalists who

here, but I think God (I use this English word which comes from the German word Gott — rather than Yahweh since I am writing to English

So much of this project
has emerged from conversations
here on the blog that I try to base decisions on
reader response
as often
as possible.
It is perhaps
as well to state explicitly that if the
reader indulges in the facile vice of bifurcation not a word of what I
have here written will be intelligible.

have therefore avoided using it
here myself so far
as possible (I resort to it only when I mean myself and my
readers — presumably fellow students of comparative religion in one way or another — or when I mean mankind, including my

I realize this may not be clear or meaninful to some
readers and I can't take the space
here to go into it other than to say that a good segment of biblical scholarship for a couple decades at least,
has properly broadened its pursuits in an interdisciplinary manner, into probing for better understandings of the nature and formative, growth processes of the earliest groups of Jesus followers and how they ultimately became Jewish Christian groups, or started
as mixed Jewish / Gentile groups (
as via Paul, et al.).
I give her much more credit than I could give
here, but glad so many
readers enjoy her books and recipes
as much
as I
have over the years.
Here in the UK we actually call Zucchinis, Courgettes but I thought I
