The Office of Science and Technology Policy has released a new plan for protecting Earth from
hazardous space rocks
The U.N. plans to set up an International Asteroid Warning Group for member nations to share information about potentially
hazardous space rocks.
Because of its gravity, for instance, it has regulated the rate of cosmic impacts on Earth: flinging asteroids in our direction yet also clearing many
hazardous space rocks out of our way.
