This morning the 29th and our 7.00 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still showing a few waist to
head high waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airport left.
Today's G - Land surf report thanks to Davey over at the G - Land Surf Camp came through at 12 noon calling in head to well over
head high waves breaking on Kongs.
Arriving at 8.30 Am to find 1 - 2ft waves with maybe just one or two almost
head high waves breaking on all 3 of the main breaks in this area.
Arriving at 8.00 AM to find chest to almost double
head high waves breaking on the point and middle sections and only around 15 surfers scattered through the line ups.
Our 7.30 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off a touch with waist to
head high waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
This morning the 17th and our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still looking pretty good with chest to over
head high waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Right.
So we bailed and headed to Secrets for a look, and it did look worthy to me with chest to
head high waves breaking on the beach break and the wind still holding off for glassy conditions.
Apparently we have a had a nice little boost in wave height over night and at the time I got the news there were some double
head high waves breaking down at Padang Padang.
Arriving just as the tide was starting to run out to find that there was still the odd waist to
head high wave breaking both left and right.
Not exact matches
So we set out for our final night back at
Broken Head Holiday Park and were greeted with some chest
high fast
breaking waves to finish off our trip.
The
waves were
head high or bigger,
breaking really quick, and it looked like a place for kamikazes only.
Advanced group dawn patrolled Airport left, Shoulder to
head high on some sets Super clean
waves and we had the
break for our self everybody had fun sessions, Beginner group surfed Padang padang after breakfast, Swell size a bit smaller than yesterday, Sunny, light, offshore winds.
Whole group dawn patrolled Dreamland this morning, We had the
break for our self for the first hour, Shoulder to
head high on some sets and were rewarded with excellent conditions with great
waves (see photos).
Advance group dawn patrolled Pandawa this morning, We had the
break for our self, Shoulder to
head high on some sets the
waves it was fun sessions (see photos).
There is also a local left hand point
break nearby that holds from
head -
high to triple - overhead
waves that we take you to sometimes on larger swells.
Intermediate and advanced group surfed another
break in Jimbaran this morning where the
waves were
head to
head high and surfed Padang - Padang for the second session after breakfast.
You're not yet confident in
head high waves on your own but we'll surf easy reefs, point and beach
breaks with all the knowledge you need to feel confident to surf most
breaks, focusing on entry and exit from the
break, surf etiquette and which peak is the best for your level of surfing.
This mornings 6.00 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was still showing some nice sized
waves in the
head to double
head high plus sector
breaking between Kuta Reef and Airports.
Today Sunday the 10th and our 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing
wave height
breaking in the waist to
head high plus region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Today's G - Land Surf Report from our good friends at the G - Land Surf Camp was calling in
wave height to be
breaking from Kongs down through to the bottom of Money Tree's in the
head to almost double
head high class.
We took our morning (6.00 AM) surf recon on the Outer Reefs to find clean as a whistle surfing conditions and waist to
head high plus
waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
KR and AL only producing some weak little waist
high waves while Middle Reef this morning had some
breaking in the waist to
head high range.
Wave height had also improved over night with waist to
head high plus
waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Apon arrival we were happy enough to see
waves on all 3 main section
breaking in the chest to
head high plus class.
The
waves were
breaking in the chest to well over
head high region, between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.

wave height
breaking in the
head to double
head high range from Kuta Reef to Airport Left.
Just to get the ball rolling my 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was looking pretty good and showing
wave height
breaking in the chest to over
head high class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Ketut has also phoned in from Canggu this morning (8.40 AM) calling
wave height in the waist to
head high class on all 3 of the main
breaks in this area.
FRIDAY: Reinforcing SSW swell fills in and bumps the surf up a bit with
head high to overhead
waves at many
breaks with at least decent exposure, while good spots are a couple feet overhead.
Now I now you guys and girls understand what I'm talking about but let me tell you how dangerous it can be with learners / kooks on
high volume boards out in the line up in over
head waves, instead of them being on a lonely beach
break actually learning to surf.
This morning's 6.45 am surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was pretty much the same as yesterday with 2 - 4ft (belly to over
head high)
waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left.
Not a lot happening out there at the time with 1 - 2 footers
breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, maybe the odd freak
head high set
wave hitting Middle Reef.
Ketut has phoned through calling
wave height to also be coming through in the chest to well over
head high range and some mighty fine
waves breaking on all 3 of the main sections at Canggu (Echo Left, Sandbar & River mouth).
Arriving around 7.15 Am to find super clean conditions with waist to
head high plus
waves breaking on all 3 main sections.
The surf at Bahia Ballena is consistent, meaning you will typically find soft
breaking waves which average about two to four feet in height (chest to
head -
high) and can offer ride lengths of up to 100 yards, pretty much any day of the year.
