This morning the 7th and out 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing

head high with maybe a couple of slightly bigger one's hitting Middle Reef.
Apparently we have a had a nice little boost in
wave height over night and at the time I got the news
there were some double
head high waves breaking down at Padang Padang.
Arriving up
there just after sun up to find
wave height a solid 3 - 4ft with a few sneaker double
head high 5 footers every now an again.
By mid morning
there were
head to double
head high plus
waves peeling off down through Moneytree's.
Yesterday out
there was all time with some solid double
head high set
waves.
With the tide now running in
there were plenty of chest to well over
head high set
waves peeling off on the point and middle sections with only 8 surfers in the line up (on arrival that is).
Arriving just as the tide was starting to run out to find that
there was still the odd waist to
head high wave breaking both left and right.
From
there we set back off towards Uluwatu arriving around 11.00 AM to find
wave height in the solid over
head to double
head high plus plus.
We rocked out
there at 6.45 Am to find 16 other surfers and some super clean
waves hitting KR in the chest to
head high plus on the bigger set
waves.
Unfortunately the
waves were small, but still
there were some waist to
head high and with the Challenge to be completed on the day, it was on.
There was a nice
head to double
head high wave coming through and a strong but still negotiable off shore wind in place.
The tide was still on the bottomg of the Low at the time but Middle Reef was delivering some waist to
head high waves and
there were a few surfers already out
there getting into em.
I also had news from down at Uluwatu that
there were a few waist to
head high waves down
there.
They surfed the
head high, fun
waves there and then a few of the crew took one of the boats over to Beng Beng.

Yesterday the 22nd and our morning surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban was showing smaller
waves again but
there were still some fun sized waist to
head high sets on Middle Reef.
Surfwise
wave height is still hanging in
there in the 2 - 5ft class (waist to double
head high) depending on where your surfing of course.
Wave did get a little more consistent as the tide pushed in and every now and again
there was a couple of double
head high set
waves.

wave height was mainly in the 2ft range but
there were a few
head high freak sets as the tide pushed in.
Our other boat went to Ebay and they got some fun,
head high and clean
waves there.

head high waves turning inside out for the already 7 surfers in the water.

there at the time with 1 - 2 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, maybe the odd freak

We also took another look at the Outer Reefs here in Tuban later in the afternoon and if the wind wasn't so howling off shore
there might have been a few nice
waves to had between Kuta Reef and Airport Left in the chest to
head high plus range.
