The plot (or as much as can be revealed here with a massive spoiler spill) is thus: A group
of five college kids — Curt the jock (Chris Hemsworth, pre-Thor), his girlfriend Jules (Anna Hutchinson), stoner Marty (Fran Kranz), good girl Dana (Kristen Connolly), and brainy nice guy Holden (Jesse Williams),
head out to an isolated
cabin in the woods for a nice weekend's debauch.
The turbocharged 1.7 - liter four packaged behind the seats squealed constantly, plus I couldn't get the audio
head unit to play music
of any kind, and then finally a large rock whacked against the windshield and made a noise that echoed through the hollow
cabin like a drum and scared the hell
out of me.
The
cabin is quiet overall, which made a couple
of sounds stand
out: There's some wind noise along the B - pillars when you hit and exceed 60 mph; this might actually be from the side mirrors, but I really heard it right next to my
head when driving.
This is especially evident in the front
of the
cabin, where two tall adults will have room to stretch
out —
head - and leg room are plentiful, while shoulder room is similarly generous.

It's 4th
of July weekend and got the opportunity to get
out of Denver and
head to the families
cabin in a rural ghost town called Rosita, and
of course I brought my camera gear and had 2 awesome dogs to photograph.

My family is
heading out of suburbia this Saturday to go stay at my
