By using the control knobs on the microphone's body, you are able to quickly adjust the mic gain and
headphone volume for an optimal recording and listening experience.
We fixed an issue where volume control would continue to
show headphones volume after headphones had been disconnected.
The mic also has a headphone jack,
headphone volume dial, and a level / gain control that doubles as a mute switch.
Other quirks such as
automatic headphones volume adjustment from app alerts, even when the phone is set to fully silent, are really irksome (and we can't find a way to switch this off).
I found I had to boost
the headphone volume higher than normal, creating a vicious cycle of upping an already aggressive high end in order to hear the lows.
The audio can be pumped up really loud, in fact, so loud that even just getting
the headphone volume to the halfway point is enough to drown out everything else around you.
