Health Foundation, then, following approval
of a grant, to then apply to the ESSFTA Foundation for matching or partially matching funds or for project support
through other ESSFTA resources, such as the English Springer Spaniel DNA Bank or ESSFTA Foundation encouragement
of the grantee's access to English Springer Spaniels owned by members
of the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association, the Parent Club
of the
breed.
Most
of the data is provided
through voluntary submission
of information by owners wishing to do their part to improve the future
health of the
breed.
Through strategic
breeding loans and animal exchanges between facilities, genetic diversity is maintained, ensuring the long term genetic and physiological
health of penguins in zoological care.
