The flour is milled from hard wheat from Colorado, the Dakotas, and Montana, so the «high altitude» refers to where the grain is grown - some people feel that grain grown at high altitude is
healthier than other grains.

Thinking about this, if nothing else, is a nice reminder about how the act of consuming food is so much more
than just nourishing ourselves... and one more reason to consider seasonal / local
grains and produce as
healthy — for ourselves, for the environment, and for
others.
Rice cereal isn't necessarily the best choice for a young infant because it has fewer nutrients
than other healthy first foods, including pureed meats and vegetables or iron - fortified cereals made from
other grains.

I don't have any inside info on how Dr. Greger would reply, but here is my 2 cents: The Daily Dozen does a great job in several areas: 1) telling us which foods are
healthy, 2) giving us good details on those
healthy foods (ex: what is a whole
grain, etc)
than other plans have — all without getting too complicated, 3) showing us the relative ratios of the various recommended foods.
Consumers are more aware of
other healthier grain choices
than traditional rice, such as millet, amaranth, and quinoa (right).
Quinoa is no better
than most
other healthy grains and cereals so shouting about it's protein content is a bit misleading.
