So at the start of my journey a number of years ago, as I was beginning to
experiment with different
healthy foods, I discovered chickpeas.
I
experimented with adding this and some other
healthy foods and supplements to a breakfast sausage recipe and these breakfast burgers were the result.
One of my favorite things to do is to
experiment in the kitchen and take the typical «not so great for you
foods» and make
healthier options while still maintaining an amazing taste.
Welcome to my lively kitchen where I love
experimenting with
food, creating new recipes and cooking delicious and (mostly)
healthy food for my family.
Consumers» desire for innovation and
healthy food options have driven companies to
experiment -LSB-...]

:) Lastly, I just wanted to say is that an elimination diet doesn't have to be miserable at all ~ there's so many options that are actually
healthier and better for you when you just make simple swaps, keep learning and just have fun in the kitchen

food:) Don't think of what you're giving up, instead, think of all the better
foods you feed your body that will be
healthier, give you more energy and happiness:) I hope this extra bit of personal experience helps in your journey.

It makes for easy meal prep and I am looking forward to

foods, and gives the kids joy in creating (for themselves) a delicious, exciting and
HEALTHY snack!

Once we gave up the junk
food, I'd still occasionally wish I could eat Chinese
food, especially shrimp fried rice, so I started
experimenting with
healthier versions.
Finding new ways to take care of my teeth and prevent cavities was one of my earliest
experiments on the road to
healthy living and the results convinced me of the power of a real
food diet.
You can further support a proper diet by
experimenting with a time - restrictive feeding routine (only eating within a 8 - to -12-hour period throughout the day) as it can help decrease the metabolic burden that
food has on cells and give them a chance to generate the necessary energy for
healthy function.
When it comes to eating
healthy I always encourage my clients to
experiment with different
foods and flavours instead of eating the same thing all the time.
Experiment with how much sugar you really need to make them
healthy, and whenever possible get most of the sweetening from real
foods such as Medjool dates, raisins, bananas, and applesauce.
This is called bioindividuality, and it's why it's important for each of us to
experiment a bit, to pay attention to the way certain
foods make us feel when we eat them, and to stick with the
foods that make us feel the best in the way of energy,
healthy digestion, clear and calm thinking and mood, etc..
No trans fats, deep fried
foods, or any other processed
foods such as candies, cookies, cakes, etc were allowed in the overeating
experiment... I was only allowed to overeat on
healthy food.
Just
experiment with
healthy recipes to find the
foods and spices that work for you.
Keep eating what you want and just start adding in some
healthier foods like bone broth or collagen powder, probiotics from drinks and fermented
foods, and
experiment with veggies to retrain your taste buds.
Enticing your kids to eat
healthy and even
experiment with
healthier foods may require a bit more creativity.
Ok, so back to my story... At the same time I began healing my digestion, I also began
experimenting with ways to make the
foods I loved that were hurting me...
healthy for me.
We still don't have a favorite Chinese
food restaurant here in Austin, so I've been
experimenting with trying out
healthy versions of our old favorites at home.
