Then we see a chicken being inserted in an officer's behind by the hero's sons in Me, Myself, & Irene, and
we hear audiences laugh.

Bad Moms is one of the more pushy raunchy comedies you'll likely come across, a film so reliant on using vulgarity as a crutch it has characters drop F - bombs at their children's schools and during PTA meetings because without them, the makers of this film feel like they won't get a
laugh from
audiences prone to guffaw just because they
heard harsh language.
Humor is subjective, of course, but I also didn't
hear anyone else in my
audience laughing either.
The theatre
audience was
laughing so much that at times we couldn't
hear some of the dialogue which came at you at lightning speed.
Those people may well include the
audience; while my black - tie gala crowd leaned in appreciatively at the disclosure of a key twist, I
heard from a few colleagues that the same scene elicited
laughs and snorts of derision at the press screening.
It's marvelous to
hear how it changes throughout the course of conversations, and how well it sets the
audience up to build for a hearty
laugh or a big scare.
I'm pretty sure I never
heard the words «I love you» in this film, and any time it started to get corny something funny would happen and the
audience could pretend the tears were from
laughing too hard.
Powerful as it is, the film is also so filled with
laughs that at times I couldn't
hear the punch - line follow - up for the raucous sounds of the
audience enjoying itself.
