wow that sounds fun — never
heard of
kookaburras but am curious about what it is because sounds aussie (looks a bit like chocolate crackles).
In Port Douglas, the
kookaburra can more commonly be
heard and seen around Craiglee & the southern end of Four Mile Beach, although it is not unusual to see them around town.
Common birds yous may
hear and see include rainbow lorikeets, pied currawongs, helmeted friarbirds, laughing and blue - winged
kookaburras, orange - footed scrubfowl, sulphur - crested cockatoos, olive - backed sunbirds, figbirds and spangled drongos.
