I
thought so highly of John MacArthur and gave for years to GTY, but when I
heard John MacArthur's beliefs
on the blood of Christ (that when the Bible speaks of the blood of Christ, it's a «metaphor» of His death), and his belief that those in the Tribulation can take the mark and still be saved, I knew I had to obey the command in 2 John 1:10 - 11 not to even give false
teachers a greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.
When I complained I
heard a lot of
teachers say that they too stopped eating school lunches after putting
on pounds... and that is interesting when you have adults gaining weight after making what they
thought were healthy decisions in the school lunch line.
We begin our practice
on our mats, observing our
thoughts as they dwell in the past or race toward the future until we
hear the soothing sound of the
teacher's voice inviting us back into the room, and into present moment.
Think, a blind calculus
teacher who could
hear if you were drawing the graph wrong
on the caulk board.
For example, I don't
think it makes sense to have a
teacher's performance evaluation solely based
on value added, nor do I believe that happens anywhere, despite what you might
hear.

teachers both touching lives and successfully teaching skills and content in hundreds of middle schools» and
hear the complaint that «most of the mandated assessments being used to determine students» attainment of the standards focus heavily
on recall of facts, one of the lowest forms of
thinking.»
If arts integration is ever to make a profound impact
on students, then it is necessary to
hear from their
teachers — those who are directly charged with increasing and developing students» knowledge, capacities, and
thinking skills.

It is great to
hear, or read rather, that the
teachers are getting their own
thoughts together
on what needs to change in public education and that they were able to directly present their ideas directly to Mr. Duncan.

hear parents complain about how their kids won't eat.
