the heart was wicked above all things.
Jesus said; I will show you my faith by my works: Faith without works is dead: (There is no life) = If we have the Faith of Christ (a gift from God) then we will have the works that go with it that is evident of our faith; the works will testify to our faith, then do we produce fruit that will remain: If our heart does not convict us to do what is right according the written word, then we are not in faith: Our hearts are far from the life of Words of our Lord penetrating into our hearts because
our hearts are wicked; even Paul who said; follow me as I am of Christ; how was that??? In and by the Holy Spirit, even Spirit of truth as Paul takes us through the Words of the Lord to have us established in the truth: The Word of our Lord is as refined silver, 7 times in the fire: Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, to them who believe: In the Bible one's «belief» and one's «behavior» are often compared.

'm sure there

But until we come to the end of ourselves then we
are going to do and say what we want, even as it
was with me: It
's one thing to
be a heathen, even as I
was, but a whole other ball game to set our
hearts on God and His truth; yet, that can only come when we
are sick and tired of
being sick and tired of our own lives and we just give up, we know then who has given up by the one they advocate for, even has given place to: Paul said; with my
heart I want to do what
is right, but my flesh does what I hate: This
is when God
's grace
is sufficient, because our
hearts are right with God, but our flesh
is not: There
is a war going on within these temples, therefore; even as our flesh wins out to do what we hate, our
hearts are set on God and His ways which has
been established in the Word of Truth, which then causes us to stand and speak forth what we believe, even as this causes a rending to happen within us, for Christ to
be formed in us this needs to
be, as we come up in His glories even for a better resurrection for them who believe: The
heart wars against our flesh, even as Christ wars against the man of sin within: For out of the abundance of our
hearts our mouth doth speak, therefore; if we speak not the Wholesome Words of our Lord, Then our
hearts are still
wicked: But to advocate for wickedness instead of Christ, one has become a teacher of lawlessness, he then advocates for the man of sin: Many who have come out of religion has done this, as they went from one mountain top «from the extreme right» of self exaltation (Religion) to the other mountain top «to the extreme left» of the (Heathen) and missed the valley in - between that
is takes to humble us: One extreme to the other, and missed Jesus: Jesus
is taking ones through the valley
's to strip us down of all who we
are before exalting us to
be just as He, even as the Christ in us overcomes that man of sin (Adam) through theses valleys of contrast that cause a rending to happen within; and when we
are rent in two, we stand on His word of truth, so we too can become one with Him, even as Jesus
is with our Father: This
is how Christ
is formed in us: Thank - you Father; in Jesus Name Alexandria

were in the Bible spoke in and by the Holy Spirit in boldness when it came time for them to minister the Word, even as it
is with me, also to bring forth my testimony as a witness: I can not fellowship with unbeliever's because all they do
is cause division, and Christ
is not divided: Therefore; remain as you
are: This
is the third time I have come to you, and you rejected me for the Word of God: Many did not even know that Jesus spoke the Word of God through Holy Spirit, so how
is it that you
are to know unless it
be given to you to know: My God
is Just and He
is right, He knows the
hearts of man
are wicked and have turned from Him: Thank - you all, there
are some that did get it: Thank - you Father in Jesus name Alexandria:

Jeremy thanks for your comments alot of this i never really thought about before until you provoked me to seek the truth in the word it
is what we all should
be doing finding the truth for ourselves God wants to reveal mysterys if we
are open to hear.If we have
been christians awhile we just take the word of whoevers preaching or whichever clip we see on god tube its knowledge but not revelation.Because the story sounds plausible we tag that on to our belief for example for many years i believed that the rich young rulers problem
was money so the way to deal with that problem
is to give it away and
be a follower of Jesus sounds plausible.Till you realise every believers situation
is different so the message has to
be universal. So the reason its not about money because it excludes those that do nt have it and does nt make room for those that do have it but do nt worship it.The rich young ruler
was not a bad person he lived by a good moral code but he made money his idol he put that before God.The word says we shall not have any idols thats a sin and a
wicked one.In fact there wasnt any room in his
heart for Jesus that
is a tragedy. So when we see the message
is about Idolatry we all have areas that we chose not to submit to God thats universal everyone of us whether we
are rich or poor.I believe we
are unaware that we have these idols what
are some of them that
was revealed to me our partners our children our work our church our family i can sense some of you
are getting fidgetty.
That
is all you (this
wicked bunch with a bad
heart)
are going to get period.

wicked.
Since «
heart», used in it

Tommy God has already forgiven you for your sin the moment you asked Jesus into your life and confessed him as Lord. From that point he paid for your sin in full past present future. It
is not sin that stops us from
being with the Lord so you
are saved.The problem you
are experiencing
is the battle for your life in the here and now satan
is out to destroy you and he knows our weaknesses. If you
are honest there
were already issues in your life that you struggled with and never got the victory over.So where do you go from here as i found myself in the same situation i
was a christian but walking according to the flesh.God does nt change his mind he always loves us but because of our choices we distance ourselves from God.The issue
is that we like sin thats our
wicked hearts and to
be fair we cant change our nature only Christ can do that our old nature must
be crucified with Christ. The stumbling block
is our pride we have to admit that we cant do it For me that
was terribly difficult i
was so independent thinking i could do anything but the truth
was a made a real mess of things.I sense you
are at a crossroads and
are feeling desperate and confused. So as a brother in the Lord you need to confess your sin to God and tell him that you
are weak -LCB- we all
are -RCB- and that you cant do it in your strength -LCB- None of us can -RCB- but ask him to send the holy spirit to help you deal with the temptations and the sin that you struggle with and he will help you to change your life he will empower you as he did me.Rather than look at who you
are look to Christ and walk in him and he will make you a new man and sin will not have dominion over you.Jesus came to set us free from bondage.Having once
been a slave to sin i know what it
is like to have
been set free by the power of God and that
is what Christ
is offering you today. All it takes
is a desire to change or repent and admit we cant do it and trust him to give you the strength to walk in him regards brentnz
«The
heart is deceitful above all else and desperately
wicked, who can know it?»
I feel like My
heart just doesn't want to Repent, it just wants me to
be free of all the anxiety, and the stress, and the sorrow, and I then realize how much more of my life I have and I don't want to live my life in fear that I
'm not
being serious about my repentance and I just want to go to heaven so I don't have to suffer when I die, and I
'm selfish and
wicked..
I wasn't selfishly chasing what my «deceitfully
wicked heart» wanted.

He
was a man after God's own
heart BEFORE he repented,
being an adulterer and a murderer, since the God of the Bible
is the most vicious
wicked murderer imaginable, and I don't recall him
being married to Mary when he went behind Joseph's back and knocked her up... but, at least he repented for the evil he'd done, something God would never do.
BBWWWAAAAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHA A clue for you:... «Jer 17:9 The
heart [
is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately
wicked: who can know it?»
29:19, where the
wicked think in their
hearts «We
are safe (shalom shall
be to me) even though we go our own stubborn ways.
I still kept a round of duties, and would not suffer myself to run into any open vices, and so got along very well in time of health and prosperity, but when I
was distressed or threatened by sickness, death, or heavy storms of thunder, my religion would not do, and I found there
was something wanting, and would begin to repent my going so much to frolics, but when the distress
was over, the devil and my own
wicked heart, with the solicitations of my associates, and my fondness for young company,
were such strong allurements, I would again give way, and thus I got to
be very wild and rude, at the same time kept up my rounds of secret prayer and reading; but God, not willing I should destroy myself, still followed me with his calls, and moved with such power upon my conscience, that I could not satisfy myself with my diversions, and in the midst of my mirth sometimes would have such a sense of my lost and undone condition, that I would wish myself from the company, and after it
was over, when I went home, would make many promises that I would attend no more on these frolics, and would beg forgiveness for hours and hours; but when I came to have the temptation again, I would give way: no sooner would I hear the music and drink a glass of wine, but I would find my mind elevated and soon proceed to any sort of merriment or diversion, that I thought
was not debauched or openly vicious; but when I returned from my carnal mirth I felt as guilty as ever, and could sometimes not close my eyes for some hours after I had gone to my bed.
Everything I did, and wherever I went, I
was still in a storm, and yet I continued to
be the chief contriver and ring - leader of the frolics for many months after; though it
was a toil and torment to attend them; but the devil and my own
wicked heart drove me about like a slave, telling me that I must do this and do that, and bear this and bear that, and turn here and turn there, to keep my credit up, and retain the esteem of my associates: and all this while I continued as strict as possible in my duties, and left no stone unturned to pacify my conscience, watching even against my thoughts, and praying continually wherever I went: for I did not think there
was any sin in my conduct, when I
was among carnal company, because I did not take any satisfaction there, but only followed it, I thought, for sufficient reasons.
I pretty much agreed with most of what you have said and i think that the sinners prayer has
been misused as a get out of Jail free card.A couple of things that people miss
is that God
is in charge. As soon as you offer yourself to God and accept Jesus Chris the holy spirit has liberty to work on you.Because he loves us he will discipline us so that we do repent of our sins. The downside of living a walk like that you
are a hypocrite until you admit your sinfulness the holy spirit can not help us because of our pride. The second part
was you talking about disciplining the flesh personally you cant discipline that which
is corrupt our
hearts are deceitfully
wicked we need new
hearts no amount of effort on our part will transform our
hearts that
is the work of the holy spirit he changes our
hearts so that we no longer desire to sin we would rather serve the Lord with all our
hearts instead.brentnz
Are not the «root causes» of the attacks by radical Islam and our lethal response found in the «deceitful and desperately
wicked»
heart we all share?
Gil you have asked some very good questions why does bad things happen in the world i personally do nt know God did nt explain to Job either why he had to suffer. What i do know
is that God desires that none of us should perish but that all would have eternal life in him through Jesus Christ. This world will one day pass away and the real world will
be reborn so our focus as christians
is on whats to come and
being a witness in the here and now. Both good and bad happens to either the righteous or the sinner so what
are we to make of that. What we do know
is that God will set all things right at the appointed time the
wicked will
be judged and the righteous will
be rewarded for there faith isnt that enough reason for us to believe.Free will
is only a reality if we can choose between good and bad but our
hearts are deceitfully
wicked we naturally
are inclined toward sin that
is another reason whyt we need to
be saved from ourselves so what
are we to do.For me Christ died and rose again that
is a fact witnessed by over 500 people that
were alive at the time and
was recorded by historians how many other religious leaders do you know that did that or did the miracles that Jesus did.As far as the bible
is concerned much of the archelogical evidence has proven to
be correct and many of prophetic words spoken many hundreds of years ago have come to pass including both the birth and the death of Jesus.Interested in what philosophy you
are believing in if other than a faith in Jesus Christ so how does that philosophy give you the assurance that you
are saved. Its really simple with christianity we just have to believe in Jesus Christ.brentnz
Gil if we only received one blessing in this life and that
was eternal life in Jesus Christ that alone would
be enough but we
are blessed way more than that because we have
been sent his holy spirit to help us overcome our old nature. He never leaves us nor forsakes us whether good or bad happens he strengthens us in our weakness. It says in the bible that the rain falls on both the righteous or the
wicked God
is fair to all whether they deserve it or not he can not
be anything else than a holy righteous loving and fair God.I do nt need to convince you to believe about God he will reveal himself to you if you
are seeking the truth as he
is the truth.I do nt try and make others believe its pointless.I know without a doubt that i
am saved and my sins
are forgiven. As a christian it will a joy to
be with the Lord there
is no fear in death for those that love him.In the meantime i serve him with all my
heart until he calls me home.I love talking about the Lord but each of us must walk according to what we believe.I trust my life to Jesus Christ and i choose to follow him who do you follow?
We
are to seek peaceful ways because our
hearts are deceptively
wicked; we
are unable to administer true righteous vengeance.
The
heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately
wicked: who can know it?
The Lord revealed that the problem
was with my
heart it
is so
wicked and deceptive i still believed that i
was a good person i did nt drink or take drugs smoke or swear i wasnt violent i had some hangups but kept them to myself but this
wicked thought
was the reason why i couldnt get free. That
was enough for the enemy to bring guilt and condemnation upon me.So when i confessed that my
heart was indeed
wicked and that i needed a new
heart.I
was instantly delivered and set free from the past and have not looked back though i
am sometimes reminded by others for what i did wrong. It no longer has power over me.I believe we all struggle with two areas as christians we must confess our sin and we must confess our pride for without him we can do nothing.May the Lord show you what it
is that
is blocking you from receiving his love and forgiveness the issue will
be found in your
heart ask the Lord to reveal it for what it
is.We do nt like to see the truth its ugly and i
am sorry if this offends you it wasnt my intention.May he set you free as he has done for me.regards brentnz
(But again, perhaps 12:33
was really only addressed to those who heard Him whose
hearts were open to a change of mind, and not to the

been the sneer of the
wicked down through the ages.
