On a balmy but not unbearably hot Wednesday evening, the Studio Museum
in Harlem proved itself exceptional
in these and many other regards, hosting its annual
summer preview and packing a
hearty crowd into the institution's glass, brick, and Adam Pendleton — adorned courtyard to celebrate the opening of no less
than six new solid and notably strategic exhibitions.
