From capturing wind and wave energy off our shores to harnessing human energy from the floors of Grand Central Terminal or tapping
heat under the earth's crust, there are exciting developments on the outer reaches of our imagination.

Since the water
under the
Earth's surface is constantly replenished, and the
Earth's core will continue to generate
heat indefinitely, geothermal power is ultimately clean and renewable.
Also in the mid-1990s, another group of scientists proposed the now widely accepted mechanism for how lakes can form
under glaciers:
Heat radiating from
Earth's interior is trapped
under the thick, insulating ice sheet, and pressure from the weight of all the ice above it lowers the melting point of the ice at the bottom.
This discovery can help scientists create new, more accurate models of what's going on inside the
Earth, specifically how and where
heat is generated
under the

In any case, any developing carbon - based life on a developing

Working
under Nobel laureate Harold C. Urey, he placed small amounts of methane, ammonia, hydrogen and water — but no oxygen — in an airtight container, then
heated it and subjected it to electrical sparks — an attempt to approximate early

bearing in mind that only a small percentage of
earths population have access to electricity, if we enabled all
under developed countries in the world with fossil fuel electricity and
heating systems, we would likely have to cover every sq inch of farmland in trees to combat climate change.rather than outright fighting the building of wind turbines (that in future times can be repaired at a fraction of the impact and pollution of replacing them) we should be putting pressure on the manufacturers of these systems and technologies to invest more in finding green solutions to using the polluting chemicals in the construction of turbines.
Put one unit of electrical power and get 3 - 5 units of free energy from the

Heat From
Earth's Magma Contributing To Melting Of Greenland Ice (Science Daily)
Whereas
under the cloud theory the amount of
heat energy leaving the
earth must be increasing relative to past times.
But
under the cloud theory the additional solar energy being absorbed by the
earth must be balanced by additional
heat energy radiated out.
Overall the conclusion I reach is that
under the greenhouse theory
heat energy leaving the
earth must either be remaining constant or decreasing.
Convective patterns driven by
heat transport in the interior of the
Earth push one crustal plate
under another (subduction) and the friction
heats up the magma necessary for volcanic action — which in turn releases CO2 into the atmosphere.
The role of contrails in climate change is still
under study, but some scientists believe that they contribute to the greenhouse effect by trapping
heat in
Earth's atmosphere.

I was
under the impression that as the
earth's temperature rises we will see more extreme weather events, both extreme
heat and extreme cold.
Currently, geothermal plants rely on locations where hot water is trapped
under the surface, pumping the hot water out to collect that deep -
earth heat.
... bodies situated on or near to the surface of the
earth become,
under certain circumstances, colder than the neighbouring air, by radiating more
heat to the heavens than they receive in every way...
On
Earth this happens close to 30 degrees latitude, and poleward of this the
heat transport is dominated by mid-latitude eddies rather than being
under the wings of a giant overturning circulation (you can still find references to a mid-latitude «Ferrell cell» in textbooks, but this is not a good description of what happens).
