The Torah is significant as long as creation stands: every jot and every tittle in the law remain in force as long as
heaven and earth exist, until everything has been fulfilled (verse 18).
We exist and
heaven and earth exist in their complete, supposed infinity, because God gives them existence.15

Under biblical cosmology the
Earth was the center of the universe,
and nothing
existed outside of the firmament of the
heavens and a layer of water outside that.
But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the
heavens existed and the
earth was formed out of water
and by water.
To say that God is «the Maker of
heaven and earth» is to claim that God antedates everything that
exists outside of himself.
Acts 17:24 - 28 «24 The God who made the world
and all things in it, since He is Lord of
heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life
and breath
and all things; 26

Interesting that for anything to
exist, everyone agrees you need time, space
and matter... Which is all accounted for in Genesis 1:1 In the beginning (time), God created the
heaven (space)
and earth (matter).
The idea that a God
exists who created
heaven and earth is truly unfathomable.
But people are ready to believe ideas
and theories made up by men in search for an answer how did the first humans come to
exist... ITS CALLED... GOD THE FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT... THE CREATOR OF THE
HEAVENS and the
EARTH... CREATOR OF MAN
and WOMAN.
Religion seemed to be a part of the «superstructure» which sanctioned the
existing order, promised rewards in
heaven for enduring the pain on
earth,
and therefore suppressed any attempt to change the real social condition of this world.
Like the bush that burned
and was not consumed, like Mary being able to contain the God of the universe within her womb, this material world
exists within God
and is filled entirely with him («Do I not fill
heaven and earth?»
«in the beginning God created the
heavens and the
earth...» So what
existed before the
heavens?
Before there were deeps
and their fountains, before the mountains were sunk into their places, before the
earth and its fields
existed, wisdom was present to assist in fixing the
heavens and in tracing the great circle of the farthest horizon,... Wisdom was to Yahweh an intimate friend, as well as agent
and overseer in all this work, finding delight in the creation of all things...
The first phrases talk about creating the
Heavens and the
Earth and yet the
Earth didn't
exist until ~ 9 billion years after the «
Heavens», in fact couldn't have
existed until a few generations of stars burned
and exploded.

Radiation of heat by the
earth to the
heavens must
exist at all times; but, if the sun be at some height above the horizon, the degree of which is hitherto undetermined,
and probably varies according to the season,
and several other circumstances, the heat emitted by it to the
earth will overbalance, even in places shaded from its direct beams, that which the
earth radiates upwards.
