You were given three weapons in the game; Primary, secondary and then a third presumably
heavy weapon class.

Capcom is only accepting one entry per person and asks that submissions be based on one of the 14
weapon classes available in the game: Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Hunting Horn, Lance, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun,
Heavy Bowgun, Bow, Insect Glaive and Charge Blade.
In it, I was able to choose one of several
classes — from snipers to
heavy weapon users — each with several loadouts.
The Bowgun from the previous title has been split into two separate
classes, the Light Bowgun, and
Heavy Bowgun, for a grand total of twelve
weapon options.
Not too popular with many players, LMGs are a
class of
heavy ordnance
weapons especially useful in open fields.
The different
classes will be Assault (a standard run and gun character), the
heavy trooper (slower, but with bigger guns), the specialist (uses long range
weapons with scopes.
Play as a
Heavy and you'll gain access to the
class's new
weapons.
You can mix and match skills from all
classes, creating a biotic sniper, or an engineer with a love for
heavy weapons, for example.
While there are a few different options in terms of secondary,
heavy, and item - based
weapons, there is only one primary
weapon available to each of the game's
classes.

weapon like assault rifles, snipers, pistols, SMGs, and more.
The Fencer is billed as an advanced
class, with limited mobility and
heavy weapons, but in a game that normally doesn't use half the buttons on the controller, its «complicated» scheme is fairly manageable.
There will also be four different
classes to choose from on the path to become a master assassin - Bezerker (
heavy weapons), Shadow Blade (knives and smoke), Trickster (disguises) and Thief (pickpocketing).
Each
class's abilities can be upgraded twice, and they can unlock two additional primary
weapons, one or two additional secondary
weapons, and / or one
heavy weapon (e.g. rocket launcher) depending on
class.

Shotguns and sniper rifles, which in Destiny 1 were secondary
weapons, are now power
weapons - the
class that replaces
heavy weapons.
EA has responded by toning the system down a bit as
Heavy reported such as taking certain
weapons out of loot boxes and instead having them be unlockable by playing the
weapon's specific
class, having to be at a certain level to equip and upgrade higher level Star Cards, and removing Epic Star Cards from Crates.
