The Summer Leadership Institute focused on
helping principals, superintendents and other central office leaders

practice and learn new ways to inspire growth in others, while offering new ideas and insights for transforming traditional professional learning with the ultimate goal of providing equity for all students.

In their work with schools and districts, CEL engages the
instructional and leadership expertise of their faculty, staff and consultants to
help teachers, coaches, school and central office leaders

instructional and leadership
practice.
These include fostering «safe, healthy, supportive, and drug free environments that support student academic achievement,»
helping to prevent bullying and harassment,
improving «
instructional practices for developing relationship - building skills, such as effective communication,» providing «mentoring and school counseling to all students,» and «implementation of schoolwide positive behavioral interventions and supports.»
These efforts will
help you align individual, classroom, and program efforts and encourage collective responsibility for
