My boys, so my first two were boys, so my first son was about six months and same thing really for my second son and I was really personally disappointed by that, that wasn't my plan, my plan was to

ROCHELLE MCLEAN: Well, I mean all of mom's immunity that babies are getting through the breast milk too so
with any illness
if mom is sick battling something, her body is already building immunity through it, so by
breastfeeding baby is getting all of those antibodies and immunities to
help fight whatever mom has so most of the time when mom is sick or have something, babies don't even get sick because they got the immune boost.
So she was out in public
with her eight week old son and it says that she was at a cafe and she happened to be
breastfeeding her baby and it says an elderly women, in not sure
if it actually lists her name or sorry her age, but anyway this elderly women comes up to her and honestly the mom was like «oh no, she's going to tell me to cover up, she's going to be like, be mean about this or you know or how dare I be, you know doing this in public kind of thing» and the only thing the elderly wanted to do was to
help the mom be able to eat.
If you're not planning to
breastfeed, you can still use a pump to
help with the discomfort that engorged breasts cause until your supply tapers off.
No one will encourage supplements
if breastfeeding is tough in the first few days; rather, my midwife will spend the night
with me
if so necessary to
help establish a successful start.
I feel like it
helps them and so I would have thought
if this topic had been presented before I circumcise my boys or m our conversation missed I would have probably have said what can
breastfeeding help with that.
Put another way
if we constantly tell women that they need to LEARN to birth or that they CA N'T birth without
help it's a tall order to expect women to physiologically and physically immediately engage
with the innate nature of
breastfeeding.
