It is not necessary to illustrate this situation
here at the beginning of our
reflections with particular examples of the questions or proceedings which gave rise to disquiet, since we shall have to go into the matter, as far as is necessary and possible, when forming a judgment on it.
What I attempt
here is to reflect on what,
at this moment, seems to me reasonably clear about the continuities and shifts in my own attempts to pursue that almost impossible — but for me necessary — mode of inquiry, theological
reflection.

At its heart, the movement that undergirds these written
reflections arose out of the gatherings and shared

reflection on your own thoughts and decisions and move to a blanket statement of what you think is Right for all women (the implication
here is if women had the correct amount of resources and confidence, they would all feel like staying
at home because they would be able to recognize that they were the most qualified to care for their kids.)
