While clearly a very popular spot, it didn't seem very accommodating, even in mid week
during low season, and we reckon there's a big dose of resting on laurels
here with the whole place having a slightly tatty around the edges feel to it.
Winter is considered a
low season here, so you might end up hiking a trail in a national park by yourself or with a few local tourists, especially
during the week as Taiwanese love going hiking
during weekends and holidays.
