We actually dried
hibiscus for the first time this year but I haven't done a
tea - tasting of it just yet.
This recipe
for hibiscus tea uses a scant two tablespoons of sugar in the whole batch, relying on cinnamon and orange slices
for extra flavor.
To make karkady, you need dried red
hibiscus flowers, which can be found at Middle Eastern and Latin American groceries (look
for Flor de Jamaica),
