It makes for a very
dynamic photo, especially when you have a
high range, and getting some nice looking shots is still possible in indoor
situations.
Several indoor photos I captured were noticeably undersaturated, and those taken in
high contrast
situations suffered from poor exposure and poor
dynamic range.
Dynamic range is outstanding, to the point where
high contrast
situations aren't a challenge for the phone, and at times can bring out its best performance.
HDR, which is short for
high dynamic range, is a common tool for handling such lighting
situations.
