seems to be an on - going debate out there these days with health professionals, nutritionists, and the media giving different opinions about whether organic
food is worth the slightly
higher prices.
Natural brands
seem higher in
price at first glance, however, these
foods are nutrient DENSE.
Many of them
seem to have switched from the
higher -
priced food because of the cost, and are very pleased with the formula.
Keep in mind though that you will need to feed far less of a calorie dense
food with
high digestibility such as Orijen, so the
price difference between a super premium
food and a mainstream brand isn't actually as big as it would
seem.
My overall impression is for the
price ($ 41.98 for a 23 lb bag) I'd expect a bit more but this is a
high protein (30 %)
food, mid-
high-range fat content (15 %), it just
