The Dr. may be suggesting this due to the
relatively high oxalate content of beets, although I do nt know of any research suggesting that oxalates are unhealthy or should be monitored when eaten in the form of whole plant foods.
Cashews have consistently been determined to have

Foods such as beets, sweet potato, spinach, chard, brown rice, soy, nuts and chocolate should be avoided due to
