hill at top speed!

I'm feeling quite proud of myself until it gets even steeper and I chicken out, but plans to fake the
top - of - the -
hill pictures and reverse back down are dashed when a couple of locals pile up the
hill behind me
at about eight times the
speed I crawled up and park immediately behind.
The biggest difference however was under braking, where the car resisted locking up even when trying to shed a lot of
speed at the end of
Hill Top straight before Hislops chicane.
Lamborghini claims the
top speed to be 183 mph, but the jacked - up clutch on Houston's car dictated otherwise during this trip, and I barely clocked in
at 45 mph going up the final
hill to my reunion.

At least engine braking coming back down the
hill was excellent; it tenaciously held the 70km / h set
speed from the
top of the
hill to the bottom.
We would all hear the «BANG» of the screen door and look up the
hill to see Roxy barreling down towards the shore line
at absolutely
top speed.
