A company called Biome Bioplastics is tackling one of those challenges — creating a bioplastic that can
hold hot liquids.
If you haven't experienced Ecoffee Cup, it feels a bit like thick, yet super-light cardboard; hard to believe it can
hold hot liquids.

The bottles keep
liquid cold for 24 hours and
hot for 12, and they're priced more like a fashion accessory: from $ 25 for nine ounces to $ 45 for 25 ounces, which
holds a whole bottle of wine.
Make sure the lid is secure — you may want to
hold a towel over the lid just in case (you don't want
hot liquid flying in your face!).
I chose white and red potatoes for the soup because I knew they would
hold up well in the
hot liquid.
Not only is it a super cute design, it's easily transportable, can
hold hot or cold
liquids, and has a double - walled plastic lining to help regulate temps.
Its
