Today, as part of my work with Responsibility.org's #TalkEarly program, I wanted to share some thoughts on living with intention holistically, in hopes that this will help you move through the
holidays and transition into a new year
feeling a bit
more grounded and with a sense of purpose.
Eating Season is what I like to call the 3 - month extravaganza that begins at Halloween when Americans consume even
more of their most delicious and comforting candies, bulldozes through Thanksgiving, when we eat all our
feelings about being with family (or our country having elected a nationalist orangutan to the White House around this time last year), continues through the December
holidays, and ends with the Super Bowl when we can no longer actually chew and consume all our favorite foods in mushy, dip form.
Purging old toys each year (especially after the
holidays) will make your home
feel much
more organized.
When you are
feeling grateful it is much
more difficult to
feel anger, resentment, and other negative
feelings that can easily arise when families join together over the
holidays.
Not to mention, with all the added stress and hustle that the
holidays often bring with them, we might be
feeling just a bit
more frazzled or sensitive than other times of the year.
Getting back to writing has been the most difficult part of recovering from the
holidays — it's
felt a little like the HAL shut - down sequence from 2001 in reverse, only slower and requiring
more caffeine.

When I drink herbal tea after indulging in too much
holiday food, I automatically

Sooner or later, those gym visits became

feel relaxed and restored when you're on
holiday, think about how you can build
more of that into your «real» life.
Once you are on
holiday you will be layering on the sun protection creams / oils and after - sun cream and your body will be getting plenty of moisture, as you apply creams on

I don't really know how to
feel about it but I am very exciting to start wearing some
more fancy clothes for the

And the closer we get to taking a few days off, the

more days... and we are getting so freaking close I can taste the egg nog and
holiday cookies from here.
It's not only because I just went on a

more soon to come) but I've always loved water and the
feeling of sand underneath my feet.
Each year gets
more sentimental and celebrating my favorite
holiday with my loved ones is absolutely the best
feeling in the all world!!
There's nothing like a tan to make you
feel a little better about yourself and
more ready to bare your limbs for the world to see, and so whilst I await my summer
holidays in July, September & November (and the sun kissed skin that ensues), I'm thinking a little «fake it till you make it» might need to be applied.
