We get together to go
out, vacation, spend
holidays, and spend time with the ones we love eating delicious
food that we will talk about forever.
BUT I'll keep cranking
out fall recipes because (duh) it's still fall and we still have a huge
food holiday to tackle!
I decided to combine two of my favorite
holiday foods — mulled wine and cranberries — to create this
out of this world dish.

holidays can be a loaded time:
food is everywhere, emotions are flying and we often feel totally
out of control.
Combine that with all the tempting snacks,
foods, desserts, and
holiday activities that have you
out of your normal eating routine, you're looking at a recipe to pack on a good 5 - 10 pounds in a week.
To get the brainstorm going, I thought of the typical
holiday comfort
foods that I would be missing
out on due to my gluten and dairy - free diet and discovered that the common thread in the
foods I'd be missing is that they were all comfort
foods baked in the oven.
The glitzy TV ads portray the
holiday season as a time to relax, enjoy good
food, and generally take time
