Some friends are coming over later this month, and we are going to
sew holiday pillows together!
As empty nesters we have a few guest rooms and this year we are expecting quite a few guests, so I made sure each guestroom had a little holiday touch, such as the addition
of holiday pillows, or a homemade tartan teddy bear, or a wreath hung in front of a window shade.
I went into my pillow closet and spied a plaid
JOY holiday pillow that would make a perfect fit.
I absolutely love Ballard Designs — my catalogs are dog - eared (and drooled on) and, as you can tell by my hand
painted holiday pillow, I also love great knock - offs, don't you?

-LCB- Tricia's
holiday pillows -RCB- Although I kept my Christmas decorating to a minimum this year I still wanted some seasonal pillows to go with my color scheme of green, gold, yellow and white (you can get a tour of my quick decorations and Erin's much more elaborate and beautiful ones here).
Have some special touches there to welcome them
like holiday pillows and open baskets ready for their mittens, hats and winter gear.
A
couple holiday pillows and a Blessed Pillow to remind me how fortunate I am... Crocheted snowflakes made by my grandma always adorn my tree... the more sparkle the better... Greenery, sparkle, and gold foil add just the right touch to this year's mantel... We're definitely counting down the days... sometimes the numbers change multiple times in one day!
I had a sore throat and felt a little achy this past weekend, so I crashed on the sofa with a throw blanket and my home's new
homemade holiday pillows.
In this post, I'll share how I made my practically no - sew
holiday pillows from fabric placemats from Target.
I added a few pillows from the living room to bring warmth and texture along with real napkins as I keep thinking I would love to use them daily instead of just around the holidays
With a classic red cardinal and festive greenery, the hooked texture... of this
lovable holiday pillow creates an appealing accent for your winter decor.
Make your home a cozy space by draping a super soft throw blanket over the sofa or foot of your bed, and adding one of our
plush holiday pillows to your couch or favorite chair.
We just designed a new line
of holiday pillows this year for our Live Sweet Shop so I have had lots of fun putting them throughout the house as well!
This year, I added
these holiday pillows made by a local maker called Allie Studio.
First, I shared
another holiday pillow as promised.
I love
all your holiday pillows!
Where did you find your two
holiday pillows?
The kids wanted
some holiday pillows of their own - they kept taking my living room ones when we first got them so I sat down with them and let them pick out a penguin each and made a little holiday throw pillow for each of their beds.

another holiday pillow as promised.
