And, yes, as a

birth mom who is decidedly a bit crunchy and a lot sentimental, there is something so cool about the fact that on the day my children were born, I was just one of many women around the world giving
birth.

moms assume that breast pumps are most useful for women
who plan to work shortly after giving
birth, but the reality of breastfeeding is that breast pumps are a helpful tool for stay - at -
home moms too.
For
moms - to - be
who envision giving
birth in the serenity and comfort of familiar surroundings,
home births are a viable alternative birthing choice.

So, with that in mind, here are nine things

birth — yes, it happens) or for those
who for whatever reason choose to
birth at
home?
Yet, we are still looking forward to parenthood and expect that we will weather the storms and relish the joys just as those
moms / parents
who had natural
births, can afford to stay
home and not work, are able to skip bottle use and use cloth diapers.
Chinyere is a seasoned childbirth educator,

There is also research showing that
moms who planned to give
birth at
home (regardless of where they actually had their babies) ended up with fewer interventions, such as episiotomies and c - sections, compared with a group of equally low - risk women
