already know how much I love lavender and how I love to use it all around our
home, in so many different ways (dried lavender
flowers as a natural diffuser for essential oils, DIY beauty products, scented candles or scented clay hearts, scented eggshell candles for Easter etc.) I had some dried lavender buds from our garden from last summer and I couldn't wait to give this recipe a try.

Visiting Cold Spring yesterday, I saw
flowers abloom and, on the way up the hill to my
home nearby, heard the
already - loud chorus of spring peepers in the wet spots.
With spring
already here, fresh
flowers are all the craze in
home decor, but they are good in any season.
Though this
flower is native to the Southeastern U.S., I have been seeing this tree everywhere, right here in the Bay Area so it
already felt familiar and fit right in our
home before I even started decorating.
In such a small space, I didn't have to much decorating to do, but I placed a large glass vase that we
already had from
Home Goods in the corner and purchased some tall, faux
flowers from Pottery Barn.
