By late
summer I'd realized that vine borer worms had lived up to their name and indeed bored a new
home for themselves deep in my pumpkin vines.....
But while Guerreiro will be playing
for his country this
summer it looks like the current Arsenal left back Kieran Gibbs will be watching the international tournament from
home after he was left out of the latest England squad
by Roy Hodgson.
Stoke have had many comings and goings over the
summer, and they were maybe a little rusty last week when they got beaten
by a Wayne Rooney winner at Goodison Park and with this being their first
home game the price of 10/3
for them to win is maybe a bit high considering their improvement over the last few seasons.
Our last Under the Sea themed book based activity
for Storybook
Summer is a wonderful paper plate fish collage from Nicola at Crafty Kids at
Home who is bringing alive the book Tiddler
by Julia Donaldson one of our favourite under the sea - themed books.

I brought dozens of souvenirs from
home to tide me over until my next trip back in the fall, but
by far the best of them all was this perfect
summer uniform, thrifted from Goodwill and Uptown Cheapskate with a pair of totally destroyed DIY denim cutoffs tying it all together, and it works
for the Cape, the lake, the city, the humidity, and the blazing sun.
I've got several more on my reading list

Maybe (as is the case in my own
home) I really love giving my kid treats (see above re: cupcake love) but when my kid comes
home full of your treats (and in our school it's not uncommon, especially in late spring,
for TWO families to send treats on a single day to celebrate upcoming
summer birthdays), then I'm either preempted
by you or we have to exceed what I consider a reasonable amount of sugar.

Now, you can get in plenty of collagen
by drinking bone broth daily, but let's face it, making bone broth at
home daily, drinking it in the hot
summer months, and keeping enough bones on hand to make this all sustainable, just isn't in the cards
for most people... That, my friends, is where Vital Proteins comes in.

for what, beats me — first to a ghost town in the Nordic mountains (where they battle a Verne - ian octopus called «The Kraken»), then to the American southwest (where an Indian elder plays that hilarious old joke where he threatens to kill them
by summoning coyotes from Hell after they stave off a threat to his people), then to the
home of philanthropist Preston Whitmore (John Mahoney), who was minding his own business one evening when a Viking demon broke in and stole his favourite Scandinavian spear.
