Arestrup has perhaps the saddest story, and he really drives
it home in his few scenes.

And while this was undoubtedly Han Solo's film (God bless Harrison Ford, limping around on a broken leg) the new characters felt at
home straight away: Daisy Ridley as Rey was an absolute star (the
scenes between her and Leia ensured the film passed The Bechdel Test) and Oscar Isaac's Poe stole each of the
few scenes he was
in (even if his character was just Han Solo
in a jumpsuit).
The film opens, with one of its
few color
scenes, with a closeup of a hand lighting votive candles with a match
in a pre-war Polish Jewish family's
home on a Friday night Sabbath.
A
few quick
scenes establish the situation back
home in Los Angeles, where her father is never present; her occasionally borderline inappropriate, endlessly talkative but also somewhat frosty step - mom, Susan (Carrie Preston), tries to overcompensate; and Ellen's half - sister, Kelly (Liana Liberato), is kinder but has secretly been suffering, too, from having to deal with having a «freak sister» with a disorder.
The
scene in which he calls his wife to plead with her to come
home early from her book tour — moments after he's stormed out of his lover's house, sex wedge under his arm; and moments before he discovers that said wife is filing for divorce — is hilarious, but only a
few clicks of the tonal dial from being heartbreaking.
This emotion is contrasted sharply
in the next
few scenes where her vivacious warmth turns to dour repression as she returns
home to London after receiving word of her father's death.
In this clip from the special features of the film's
home release, seen first on SPINOFF, the curtain's peeled back a bit on a
few scenes to give viewers an idea of how things look before and after the movie magic happens.
Within the first
few tracks on the album, it has served as a
scene - setting opening
in the main title, a haunting lullaby
in «The Killing» and a warm, glowing pastorale
in «Coming
Home».
THE BLU - RAY DISC by Bill Chambers Paramount brings The Wolf of Wall Street
home in a bare - bones release that, as anticipated by all but a
few chumps, does not contain any deleted

scenes commentary has been included, letting you listen
in on those who made the game a reality.
Since this Woodstock Kitchen is
in the
home stretch, I thought I'd give a little behind the
scenes view of some of the work
in progress during my last
few visits.
