awards, Cary Fukunaga's first full length feature film has certainly seen it's share of attention so far and with the names of Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna to help it along, it's likely to do well with some
audiences.
Its long list of
awards includes the nod for its gorgeous cinematography at Tribeca,
Audience and Grand Jury prizes at AFI Fest and of course, the Ariel for Best Picture and all other major categories in its
home country.
With a hometown advantage, I can easily imagine it taking
home the festival's often auspicious
Audience Award.

And on Monday at the I.F.P. Gotham
Awards, Ronan won the actress honor, and Get Out took
home a whopping three prizes — for screenplay, breakthrough director, and the
audience award.
The movie took

Audience Award at Sundance, and, according to Fishkin, could be on its way to more.
The closing night film Short Term 12, a grand jury and
audience award winner at this year's South by Southwest Film Festival, set at a group
