This fall, our team members in and around Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia volunteered
with Cradles to Crayons, a national organization that provides
children from birth through
age 12
with essential items — all free of charge — to help them thrive at
home, at
school, and at play.
The distinction between the nuclear and traditional family was also blurred in the recent report on human sexuality by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) titled Keeping Body and Soul Together: «Although many Christians in the post-World War II era have a special emotional attachment to the nuclear family,
with its employed father, mother at
home, and two or more

aged children, that profile currently fits only 5 percent of North American households.»
What the program discovered is that 27 % of primary
school aged children never help
with the cooking at
home.

This topic merits more extensive study, that more closely examines the number of foodborne illness cases in preschool
aged children who bring lunch from
home compared
with others who eat
school - prepared lunch.
I know exactly how you must be feeling — we are only at the start of our preschool days
